Pay your Practising Certificate Fee by direct debit

The Finance and Audit Committee of the General Council of the Bar has decided that the ability to pay your practising certificate fee by cheque will be phased out by 2012. This decision reflects common business practice and will significantly reduce administration. It will be a staged transition, allowing you time to consider and alter your payment arrangements. However, we hope that those renewing their certificates will move to other payments options as soon as possible.
