Frances McCarthy - Frances McCarthy is a Partner with Pattinson and Brewer, where she is the Head of the Personal Injury Department. A Past President of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers and former member of the Civil Justice Council, she is on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Personal Injury Law and is the co-author of Know-how for Personal Injury Lawyers and contributes to Jordan’s ‘Civil Court Service’. Helen Goatley - Helen Goatley is an equity partner at Barlow Robbins in Guildford, Surrey. She has been a member of both the Law Society Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence panels since their inception and is an APIL Fellow. Helen heads up the Barlow Robbins complex injury team, acting for clients with severe injuries and for those whose cases involve complex issues of law, evidence or quantum.
