Denis Cameron Denis Cameron qualified as a solicitor in 1971. Throughout his career he has specialised in residential and commercial conveyancing and wills and probate in typical high street practices in Blackpool until his retirement from private practice in 2005. In 1999 Denis Cameron became a member of the Law Society Council for the Central Lancashire and Northern Greater Manchester Constituency. He was Chair of the Law Society’s Conveyancing and Land Law Committee from 2002 to 2005 and is presently a member of the E-Conveyancing Task Force, Electronic Law Committee, Property Section Executive Committee, Transaction Working Group and Lexcel Assessment Panel. He is a former member of the Money Laundering Task Force and was a contributor to the Money Laundering Guidance for Conveyancers published by the Law Society. Bill Chandler Bill Chandler is a partner and professional support lawyer in the Property and Construction Practice Group at Hill Dickinson LLP, providing legal advice and support to the Group on all aspects of property law and practice as well as being responsible for matters such as professional training, precedent documentation and internal and external publications. Prior to assuming this role, Bill enjoyed more than 10 years transactional experience at the firm across the complete spectrum of property work, working for a mix of landlords and tenants, investors, developers and retailers. Francis Dingwall Francis Dingwall is a practising solicitor and partner in Legal Risk Solicitors. He joined the firm in November 2007 from Henmans LLP, where he established and led the firm’s successful professional indemnity practice for 15 years. He has handled/overseen over 1,000 solicitors’ negligence claims, and has been handling risk management issues since qualifying at Barlow Lyde & Gilbert in 1984. He has represented some of the country’s most prestigious firms, and has also advised other professions, particularly accountants and construction professionals. He has regularly handled multi-million insurance coverage disputes. Edward Goldsmith Edward is a partner in Goldsmith Williams based in Liverpool City Centre and started Goldsmith Williams with Chris Williams in 1984. The firm has three partners and over 240 staff. The firm specialises in Direct Conveyancing and is recognised as one of the largest providers of legal services for the mortgage intermediary market. Edward was President of Liverpool Law Society in 2001. His firm is a founder member of the Direct Conveyancing and Association of which Edward is a member of the Managment Committee and also Chairman. Goldsmith Williams are also founder members of the e-homebuying forum which is currently in discussions with HMLR and the Government over the future of e-conveyancing. Richard Snape Richard is a professional support lawyer with the firm of Davitt Jones Bould Solicitors. He has written widely on conveyancing related matters and is a frequent lecturer on continuing professional development
