Course summary:: Winning cases is no fun if you are not making a profit. This intensive course is intended to directly enhance the delegate's contribution to the profitability of their firm. The delegates will cover key areas of personal injury claims investigation and the business of law.
Course description/speaker:: Jim Palmer � Jim Palmer is a consultant at Underwoods Solicitors, Hemel Hempstead, known as a �flagship� firm for its work in conditional fees and legal funding. Jim was admitted in 1981, has been a Member of The Law Society Personal Injury Panel for 10 years and is an APIL Fellow. In 2003, Jim was voted joint CPIL �Trainer of The Year.� Jim regularly undertakes training for lawyers in personal injury, costs and funding, law firm finance and management, and is also involved in expert witness training.

Lee McIlwaine � Lee McIlwaine LLB, Solicitor, APIL Fellow � A former claims inspector trained within the insurance industry Lee designed, incepted and managed St Paul's UK Municipal Risk Management Service before qualifying as a Solicitor. Since then Lee re-launched two PI departments before starting Lee Solicitors. He combines this with being a consultant to Accident Solicitors Direct and a nationally accredited legal trainer.
