Transfer to the Bar
Information on how to transfer to the Bar.
The Qualifications Committee of the Bar Standards Board deals with applications for Call to the Bar from qualified solicitors, qualified lawyers from Europe or from common law jurisdictions and legal academics.
Each application must be made on the relevant application form, as below, and is considered on its own merits.
